My friends at True North have put together a great precinct caucus guide that you can read -- get informed and get involved! Remember, caucuses for SD 15 are at Apollo High School. Our friends who find us on facebook and those who give us email lists received the call below.
Call to the
2010 Precinct Caucus
Tuesday, February 2
7:00 pm
Apollo High School
All eligible persons are encouraged to participate in the caucus. The business of the caucus includes: elect chairs, officers, delegates and alternates to the BPOU (basic political organizing unit) Convention, conduct the Gubernatorial Straw Poll, discuss issues, candidates and resolutions.
We need your help! If you are interested in being a convener or secretary, please reply to this call. The job of the convener is to start their precincts meeting, elect a chair and secretary. The chair runs the meeting. The job of the secretary is to fill out required forms, record results and actions on proposals, distribute and collect forms.
Convener training session will be on Saturday morning, January 30, place to be announced.
We hope to see you on the very important evening!
