There is a definite difference between a democracy and a republic, and that difference is the source of its authority. In a democracy the authority is based on strength of number, strength of force. In a republic the authority is a set of principles, unchanging by the whim of a simple majority, and providing an enduring stability.
A democracy is simply the deterioration of a republic -- it is a lazy man's form of government. It requires no effort and no research of candidates or long-term issues; it is simply based on what a majority of the people feel at that given time. A democracy is what Founding Father Benjamin Rush called a "mobocracy." -David Barton, Keys to Good Government, pg. 7
As Republicans we should vigorously promote and defend the constitutionally mandated form of government our Founding Fathers gave us - a republic.

When Did Our Health Care System Become 2nd Rate? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, you read that right, when exactly did the world's best health care system become 2nd rate? When was it that our system become worse than that of any in Europe or even that of our neighbor, Canada?

Granted there are indeed problems within our overall health care system; costs are high, portability issues, lack of good communication between providers, etc. but dagnabbit America is still numero uno, top of the heap when it comes to efficiency and access to medical care and to say its broken and needs a complete overhaul - well it just ain't the TRUTH!

There are many great sites and articles exposing the Myth of a Broken System that needs the healing hands of Obamassiah. Today we direct your attention to this one - http://barackobamaexperiment.com/
